Celtic Wondrous Strange
celtic wondrous strange

Celtic Artist: Angela Dawn MacKay

Medium: Digital art

Description: A Celtic Queen of Hearts peers through a crack in time, looking for Alice. Alice is no where to be found, but what the Queen sees is wondrous strange, for it seems the caretakers of all of time and space are giant Celtic spiders, tending each realm nestled in Celtic spirals of light as it would care for its young. Immediately in front of the Queen lies an underwater realm filled with celtic mermaids and fairies. The phrase "Wondrous Strange" comes from Shakespeare's Hamlet as well as A Midsummer Night's Dream. It is also the name of a popular young adult series by Lesley Livingston.
